Ready to print my next book...

I keep thinking about printing this blog into a book as my last one turned out great,such a good lot of memories all bound into a beautiful book that will be looked at over the next goodness knows how many years. I never print off photos anymore but you end up with hundreds of photos and captions to go with it all...got to love technology! I keep thinking also that I will just put up one more post then look at printing but enough is enough...it is over a year since the last one...I can then start all over again and look forward to producing the next one...

Crazy Little boys...or not so little anymore

How many photos does it take to get a good one...............These three are trouble when they are together,talk about giggle, thought that is what girls did when they are together....but no just the same with the boys!!!

Great start to the holidays

 We have had a fun start to this lot of holidays,the kids came back from Timaru after visiting their Granny with Tristan....and the day carried on from there...we went whitebaiting, and the kids had a go at fishing...both were rather unsuccessful but we all had fun....we then went down to the beach for dinner...first BBQ of the season...roll on summer I say! plenty more of this to come

This week we have completed the lounge painting and have moved onto the kitchen...this is the last room we are planning on painting as the other 2 rooms of the house require a bit more than a paint job, so will have to wait a while for some more funds!John has worked like a trouper and I think we make a great team....we help each other and push each other to get the job done...can't wait to sit back and not have any more painting to do....

A break while the paint dries...

It was a beautiful sunny afternoon and we needed to wait for a coat of paint to dry so what better thing to do than float the ponies to the beach for a ride....thanks to Johns enthusiasm and confidence he made me go for a ride when I have been putting it off and putting it off as my horse riding confidence has dropped somewhat and I feel the longer I leave it the harder it is going to get....After hopping on and feeling a little nervous it didn't take me long to relax into it...Lass was a little hot under the saddle but as I relaxed so did she....I even got her into the river for a paddle!

Another busy week this week....

We are all so over painting rooms!!! not quite there yet though...still have the lounge and the kitchen to go...John  seems to think the lounge will be quite quick to paint as the walls don't have much prep to do on them, so we should be able to crack on with painting....still it is all the furniture moving and putting back that is wearing me out!
